This policy explains what information we collect when you buy The Fathers' Pact and how we use it. This is a plain-language summary intended for a small direct-sales bookstore; please review it with legal counsel before launch.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, and — for physical books — your shipping address. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your information only to process and deliver your order, send order and ebook emails, provide customer support, and keep records for accounting. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary information with trusted providers:
- Stripe — payment processing and sales tax.
- Shippo — shipping rates and labels for physical books.
- Resend — sending order, ebook, and support emails.
- Supabase — secure database that stores your order records.
- Vercel — hosting and private storage for the ebook file.
Cookies
We use a single secure cookie only for the administrator login. The public store does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention & your rights
We keep order records as long as needed for fulfillment, support, and tax/accounting obligations. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal information by contacting us, subject to records we must retain by law.
